Mr Amir Adan briefed the Minister about his visit to Somaliland. Mr Amir Adan said, I am here to learn how Somaliland built democratic institutions, create peace and stability without much support from the International Community. I am impressed about what I have seen and it is encouraging. I can understand the frustration Somaliland people feel about the lack of recognition. I am sure that Somaliland will be an independent country soon. This visit gave me good experience about practicing democracy in Somaliland, Africa, a region where democracy is rare.
